Follow Friday

Q: What is one thing you wish you could tell your favorite author?

A. Gosh, that's such a difficult question. To be honest I would probably be so starstruck anything I would want to say would immediately fly out of my mind. "You're so amazing" doesn't cut it at all, but it's probably all I would be able to choke out.

What did you guys all say?

p.s. don't forget to vote on your favorite haiku! The poll is above:

1. Mountain Lake By Chloe

Waves lapping the shore
Sunlight glistening on the lake
Up in the mountains

2. By Peter

Dark, hirsute, unique
Symmetrical curlicues
Seneca Crane's Beard

3. By Rea

Pages draw you in
So caught up in the story
But there's no ending!

  1. I agree, if I were in person with my favorite author(s), I would totally be star struck! I'd be lucky if I could get out "You rock!"

  2. That's all right, it's nerve-wracking for authors to do events where they talk to their readers. Most of them are solitary creatures by nature -- talking to strangers is cause for panic lol

I'm a new Networked Blogs follower :) My FF.

  6. Hopping through. I think a lot of drooling and blushing would be involved if I met certain authors.

  7. I said, "I think I might be the child you never had". It would went well pretty great. But I think I'd be like you and I'll get so starstruck I wouldn't even be able to look at their faces. :)

  8. Yeah. I'd probably be too star struck to say anything, too. Which happened to me recently with Simone Elkeles *goes cry in a corner* But yeah, I'd also like to tell them how amazing they are :)

The last hauku {sp} is really nice. It makes the most sense to me. I don't like writing them anymore then I like to write a sonnet ... I know they are both rather difficult but I don't see the pleasure in that style of writing. :) Thanks for sharing.
